There is ongoing talk of who would lead the new company, including GM Chief Executive Officer Rick Wagoner, GM Chief Operating Officer Fritz Henderson or Chrysler Chief Executive Officer Bob Nardelli.
Cerberus is also weighing other options for the company. Ongoing talks also continue with other companies like Renault. But the largest rumored deal would be with GM. Both companies have been shedding jobs, closing plants, and pairing back the number of dealerships they work with.
