Forget the gadgets. Never mind the sunroof. Who needs a GPS system when you can simply stop and ask someone for directions?
When a woman goes shopping for a car, she's looking first and foremost for a car with plenty of storage space.
At least that is what LeaseTrader.com, a company that helps people transfer car leases, found when it polled a number of female customers. Despite all the hype surrounding everything tech -- from iPhones to WiMAX -- women want functionality above all else, the survey found.
The highest percentage of women surveyed want fold-down back seats that provide more storage area. In fact, more than half of the women polled -- 62 percent -- cited this feature as their No. 1 option.
One customer, Melody Fund of Miami Beach, Fla., said, "More storage space means I would have more options with my car." Fund said she drives a Volvo sedan.
The same survey found women consider the sunroof to be the most overrated feature.
